In the Market Update, Phoenix Funds members take turns working in teams to deliver in-depth analyses of current market conditions. Each team of 2-4 is responsible for independently gathering information on global and domestic trends during their assigned time period, ranging from equities and commodities to earnings and major corporate events. This hands-on process helps members learn how to critically approach information, develop their own perspectives, as well as being great practice in presenting insights to the rest of the club. The Market Update helps develop crucial skills including research, analysis, and communication.
